Edinance foods Farm is found in Buwoya village, Buyanga Subcounty in Bugweri District in Eastern uganda, approximately 120km from the capital city kampala.

Day 1 Milking and feeding of animals

In the morning you will meet your site guide who will brief  you through the farm activities, the Dos and DON’TS, he will lead around as You will engage in different activities such as feeding animals and milking . Be ready for milking experience and the process of milk chumming and the ghee making experience.

Day 2: Horticulture

After breakfast you will be ushered into a number of farm activities. Vegetable planting will start off your day and weeding will come in after, then your day will be wrapped up with a harvesting experience. For nature lovers, planting vegetables will give you an enthralling and life time memories.

Day 3: Fishing in farm ponds.

Early morning go for fishing this activity will provide with all common traditional fishing techniques include hand-lining, spearfishing, gleaning, harpoons and spears, barriers, and trap fishing. Hand lining involves using a line with a baited hook that is hand-held. Spearfishing. After the fish are caught, you will be able to sample the final product and appreciate the freshness and flavour of your self made dish of fish
Community Tourism

Day 4: Drum making

After breakfast, you will immerse yourself in the community walk to the surrounding villages giving you an opportunity to interact with locals or exploring the eco-tourism activities in the area. Thereafter you will explore the local drum making, you will see hoe the drums are made in the 21st century, as they have been a hundreds of years ago and it is still all by hand using indigenous trees for the making of the drums.

Day 5: Learning how to drum and dances.

In the morning after breakfast, You will learn to play basic beats of the drum, and it will prove rewarding. You will do the best by picking up the drumsticks and actually doing the thing. Just watching or listening might not seem practical to you, and your ideal way to learn is to get your hands dirty. Thereafter you will engage in cultural dances, this gives yet another enjoyable and amazing experience about Uganda’s traditional lifestyle.

Day 6: Visiting school.

After breakfast you will be driven to one of the local schools to interact with students and participate in the school activities.

Day 7: Local markets and cycling.

After breakfast you will be taken to one of local markets in Iganga town. Local markets offer visitors a glimpse into the everyday life of Ugandans, it is a mesmerizing experience. You will then engage in cycling where you will encounter new people and cultures. It’s almost impossible not to make charming new friends and experience fascinating foreign cultures. Then in the evening shall only be bites and feasts on a delicious Barbeque.
